Hello and welcome to MSE Events web site

MSE Events became established in 2008, originally promoting with local cinemas to tie in with Marvel and D.C. Movies. Following several successful cinema promotions MSE Events turned to promote at alternative venues. Between 2008 and 2013 MSE Events ran Fairs and Shows around the northwest including Runcorn, Lancaster and Liverpool and even went further afield to run events in Wolverhampton inside the Wulfrun Shopping Centre. By 2012 MSE Events decided to organise Sci-Fi Conventions and held 2 Dr. Who themed events at The Days Hotel, Manchester, called Invasion Earth. Following these 2 successes MSE Events decided to hold Sci-Fi Comic Book Fairs in the local area / Town Bolton. The Bolton Sci-Fi Comic Book Fairs and Bolton’s Official Comic Con have consequently been held at the Holiday Inn since 2015.

In more recent times MSE Events organised the Southport Comic Book Show which developed to become Southport Comic Con, the very first Comic Con to take place in Southport was held at The Prince Of Wales Hotel in association with Pleasure Land. In the same year, 2016, MSE Events successfully organised Salford Comic Con at A.J. Bell Stadium, bringing the City of Salford into the Comic Con arena.

MSE Events continues to organise and develop its love for holding Comic Cons and Sci-Fi Events and hopes to bring new and different ideas to the table whilst maintaining the inclusion of fundraising for various charities and supporting Cosplay, Artists, Authors and other Exhibitors who help make a colourful super fun family event . All our events offer low admission prices and we guarantee that our events are a great family day out.
